A contact form that creates leads

Build the form

Under Forms open Form Builder and create a form for the Lead DocType (or Contact Enquiry). Add name, email, phone and message; mark phone required. Set the success message.

Place it

In the builder insert a Form element and pick the form. Style the fields in the inspector; the form's own required checks still apply.

After submit

On the form's submit event add two actions: Show toast with "Thanks, we will call you", and Navigate to /thank-you.

Check it

Publish, submit the form from a private window, and open Forms in the admin: the submission is there, and the Lead exists in the DocType.
